It was a good run, but the North Community Polars unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Roosevelt. North Community has not had much luck with Roosevelt recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Olivia Wren continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Roosevelt, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wren has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tamara Behl, who scored 15 points.
North Community's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Roosevelt, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6.
North Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roosevelt, they will head out on the road to square off against Como Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Roosevelt focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
