Basketball Recap: Foothill Takes a Loss

Foothill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lodi Flames. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 76-71 to the Flames when the teams met back in December of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Foothill lost, don't look at Tomari Harris. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points and five rebounds. The game was Harris' sixth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Nick Stuart, who earned seven points.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lodi, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Foothill has already played their next matchup, a 64-47 victory against Oroville on the 19th. As for Lodi, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-39 loss against Woodcreek on the 19th.
