Despite the loss, Jefferson still got an impressive performance from Jaiden Gladney, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds. That was a full 37.1% of Jefferson's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamari Jenkins, who scored nine points.
Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Martinsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Jefferson will head out on the road to square off against the Applemen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Musselman is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season. As for Martinsburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hampshire is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
