Denver South's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Christian Cobb, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds. Cobb continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Shepard, who scored 14 points.
Denver North's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Denver South, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Denver North will play host again and welcome Adams City, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Adams City has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 232 points over their last three contests. As for Denver South, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Thomas Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. Thomas Jefferson is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 61.2 points per game.
