They breezed by Farragut at home to the tune of 54-17. Considering Chicago Marshall has won seven games by more than 21 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Leading Chicago Marshall to victory were Janiyah Green and Ja'Una Williams. Green scored 19 points along with eight rebounds, while Williams scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Green has scored at least 25% of Chicago Marshall's points. Chamarre Scott was another key contributor, scoring four points along with four blocks.
Chicago Marshall's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. As for Farragut, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Chicago Marshall will head out on the road to face off against Foreman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Foreman's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so Chicago Marshall's offense will have their work cut out for Chicago Marshall. As for Farragut, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Instituto Health Sciences at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Instituto Health Sciences comes in on a streak of failing to score more than zero points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
