Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring Mills). They put the hurt on the Moorefield Yellow Jackets with a sharp 10-0 victory on Thursday. With that win, Spring Mills brought their scoring average up to 3 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Moorefield from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Christian Park led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Spring Mills now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Moorefield, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Spring Mills will take on Musselman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring Mills' defense better be ready for this one: Musselman have averaged an impressive 2.6 goals per game this season.
