The Killian Hill Christian Cougars are on the road again  on Tuesday and plays the Bible Baptist Christian Eagles at 6:15  p.m.  on February 6th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
 Last Friday, Killian Hill Christian took a serious blow against the Eagles, falling  95-55. Killian Hill Christian has not had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
 Despite their  defeat, Killian Hill Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Hawthorne Herring, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 11  rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Herring hasn't dropped below eight  rebounds for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was  Emory Berry, who  scored 18 points along with three  steals.
 Meanwhile, Bible Baptist Christian had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.4 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They claimed a resounding  83-23 victory over Grace Christian on the road. Bible Baptist Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Michael Greene continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 25 points along with four  steals. He hasn't dropped below 16 points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Trent Hamilton, who  scored 17 points along with two  steals.
 Killian Hill Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road.
This contest  is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor:  Killian Hill Christian  have been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 36.2  rebounds per game. However, it's not like Bible Baptist Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 33.2  rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Killian Hill Christian came up short against the Eagles when the teams last played  back in November of 2023, falling  61-56. Can Killian Hill Christian avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
