Carson is 1-9 against Robinson since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Carson Cougars will be playing at home against the Robinson Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Carson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

Carson's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over Concord. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Spiders: they've now won five in a row.

Carson hit Concord with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caylee Miracco (2), Allie Martin (2), and Skarlett Henriquez.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Robinson was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to Northwest Cabarrus. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Carson, their win bumped their record up to 4-1-1.

Carson suffered a grim 10-1 defeat to Robinson when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can Carson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
