The Strathmore Spartans will face off against the Orange Cove Titans at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Strathmore's pitching crew heads into the  match  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Lindsay with a sharp  10-0 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Spartans.

 Gracie Gillis made a big impact no matter where she played. She  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than 11  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March.
 In other batting news,  Mollie Gillis was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March.  Anabelle Benavides was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Strathmore  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Orange Cove waltzed into their contest  on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by  a  20-1 margin over the Cardinals.
Like Strathmore, Orange Cove also got a great game from a two-way player:  Daisy Regalado. On the mound, she  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Regalado was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Orange Cove got a  massive  performance out of  Allyanah Cano, who  went 4-for-5 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Danika Del Bosque, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple.
 Strathmore's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Orange Cove, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
Friday's   game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Strathmore hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .367. However, it's not like Orange Cove struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .360. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
