The Capitol Hill Redwolves will take on the Southeast Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Capitol Hill, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Capitol Hill turned things around against Marshall on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bears an 11-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Redwolves needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Santos Flores was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted over his last three contests. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Bryce Parson and Aron Morales did most of the damage at the plate: Parson went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Morales went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two runs gave Morales a new career-high. Alan Duarte was another key player, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against Santa Fe South, falling 14-1.
Capitol Hill's victory bumped their record up to 6-26. As for Southeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-22.
Southeast's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Capitol Hill has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .438. It's a different story for Southeast, though, as they've only averaged .260. Will they be able to contain Capitol Hill's hitters?
