Senedot Stripes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 58-49 to Gilead Christian.
It was another big night for Denim Myers, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds for Gilead Christian. That's the first time this season that Myers scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Talan Blankenship, who scored 15 points.
Senedot Stripes' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gilead Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Senedot Stripes will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kingsway Christian at 6:45 p.m. on January 9, 2024. As for Gilead Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
