Kaden Carter Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is Lamar County's Kaden Carter, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Carter made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 81 yards.
The victory (which was Lamar County's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Carter and Lamar County will face off against Putnam County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Rashod Daniel Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Putnam County got the W thanks in part to Rashod Daniel playing the best football he has all season. Daniel rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. Putnam County is 2-1 when Daniel posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
This season, Daniel has run in 16 touchdowns while averaging 124.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 58.29 rushing yards per game.

Big Game from Hardge As Social Circle Won 38-19
Jameccus Hardge's big game helped extend Social Circle's winning streak to three on Friday. Hardge did his part (and then some), rushing for 43 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
If history really does repeat itself, Hardge might just drop another big game when he faces off against Jasper County on Friday. Hardge rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 37 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Hurricanes duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jude Nelson Makes It Two for Social Circle
Another Social Circle player making an appearance on this list is Jude Nelson. He picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 63 yards.
