Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Northside Christian

Northside Christian strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 76-56 margin over the IMG Academy Gold Ascenders. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly 20 points.

Northside Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isaac Jacobs, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 16 points and four steals. Jacobs has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 55% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was IAN ALLEN, who posted nine points and seven steals.

Northside Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Northside Christian's record is now 3-0. As for IMG Academy Gold, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Northside Christian will take on Evans in a tournament on Friday. As for IMG Academy Gold, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on ABF Academy Homestead at 5:00 p.m. on December 9.
