Farmington entered their tilt with Galva on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp  17-3 win. The Farmers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Jacob Evans made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  doubles, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  doubles  he has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other pitching news,  Jonah Welker looked comfortable as he  tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   two  hits. What's more,  he posted four  strikeouts, the most he's  had  over his last three  contests.
 Back at the plate,  Ben Marvel and  Henry Easley did most of the damage at the plate:  Marvel  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double, while  Easley  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. Marvel continues to improve, besting his previous  run total in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Carter Lambin, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Farmington was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .576. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Farmington pushed their record up to 23-6 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.8 runs over those games. As for Galva, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
 Farmington has already played their next game,  a  13-3  victory against Kewanee on the 14th. As for Galva, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  6-4  defeat against Knoxville on the 14th.
