After flying high against Keokuk two weeks ago, Mt. Pleasant came back down to earth. Last Friday, Mt. Pleasant were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 28-34 to Solon. Mt. Pleasant's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Fort Madison, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They have to be aching after a bruising 7-32 loss to Washington.
