Basketball Recap: Eastern View's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Eastern View had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 60-43 win over the James Monroe Yellow Jackets. This was payback for the Cyclones, who suffered a 72-63 loss the last time these two teams met.

Eastern View's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for James Monroe, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern View and Louisa County will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. Eastern View is facing Louisa County at the right time seeing as Louisa County is stuck on a six-game losing streak. James Monroe and Heritage will round out the year against one another at on Friday.
