The Franklin Classical School Knights suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 54-18 defeat at the hands of Franklin Road Christian. Franklin Classical School has not had much luck with Franklin Road Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Gracie Tidwell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Franklin Road Christian, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Tidwell continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryleigh Dempsey, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five steals.
Franklin Classical School's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Franklin Road Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Classical School will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Dayspring Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 29th. As for Franklin Road Christian, they will take on Dickson Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dickson Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
