The Pacifica Tritons fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They really took it to Oxnard for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-14 victory on the road. Given Pacifica's advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 51st, while Oxnard is ranked 447th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Pacifica to victory were Dominic Duran and Josh Joyner. Duran threw for 247 yards and three touchdowns, while Joyner rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns. Isaiah Dillon also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.
Pacifica's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Oxnard, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-7 record this season.
Pacifica does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Oxnard also has no future games currently scheduled.
