Cypress Creek got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Timberlyn Campbell out in front who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jaylisse Lewis, who scored 12 points.
Mater Brighton Lakes Academy's loss was their 22nd straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.6 points per game. As for Cypress Creek, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
