On Friday, Fairmont Prep put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They took the game and then some with a 58-6 win over Ribet Academy. Fairmont Prep were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Fairmont Prep back to even at 3-3. Ribet Academy are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Fairmont Prep take on Godinez at Yorba Linda at 7:00 PM. Godinez took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Fairmont Prep's good fortune. Ribet Academy will stay at home against Capistrano Valley Christian at 3:00 PM. Ribet Academy stagger into the match hobbled by five consecutive losses while Capistrano Valley Christian skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins.
