The Berkmar Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their 22nd straight loss. They lost to Discovery at home by a decisive 63-44 margin. Berkmar has struggled against Discovery recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Discovery to victory, but perhaps none more so than Krisheya Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Wilson scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Kaylon Jackson, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Berkmar dropped their record down to 1-24 with that loss, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.8 points per game. As for Discovery, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-14 record this season.
Berkmar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Discovery also has no future games currently scheduled.
