Greensburg suffered a tough 67-43 defeat at the hands of Jennings County. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Greensburg in their matchups with Jennings County: they've now lost four in a row.
Jennings County was led to victory by Mollie Ernstes and Juliann Woodard. Ernstes scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds, while Woodard almost dropped a triple-double on 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Ernstes has scored at least 25% of Jennings County's points. Another player making a difference was Alivia Elmore, who scored 11 points.
Greensburg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Jennings County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Greensburg will head out on the road to face off against Seymour at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Jennings County and Jeffersonville will face off at 6:00 p.m. on November 21st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
