Fred Little was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 12 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Miles Leaks, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and five assists.
Forest Hills' loss came despite strong showings from Jahmarion Mingo and Amari Melton. Mingo scored 19 points, while Melton scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mingo has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kj Chambers, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Piedmont is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Forest Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.
Piedmont will look to defend their home court on Monday against Central Academy at 7:30 p.m. Central Academy is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Forest Hills, they will head out on the road to challenge West Stanly at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in West Stanly's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests.
