Royal had already won eight in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. In other batting news, Emerson Eilers was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, five RBI, and two doubles. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Bergeson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5.
Royal pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
