Ipswich extended their losing streak  to three  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 1-4 in the process. They lost  14-6 to the Winthrop Vikings. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Boncore was also big at the plate,  going 4-for-5 with three  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news, Winthrop let  Kylie McFarland and  Guiliana Marenghi run wild. McFarland  went 2-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double, while  Marenghi  went 2-for-5 with two  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run.  Sofia Gonzalez was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ipswich will head out to  face off against Georgetown  at 1:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Winthrop, they will venture away from home to  challenge Danvers  at 10:00  a.m.  on Monday.
