Viborg/Hurley is on a three-game streak of home losses, the Cubs a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Viborg/Hurley Cougars will take on the Alcester-Hudson Cubs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Alcester-Hudson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Viborg/Hurley, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Viborg/Hurley earned a 62-49 victory over the Jaguars.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-23, which was the final score in Alcester-Hudson's tilt against the Watchdogs on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Alcester-Hudson has scored all season.
Viborg/Hurley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Alcester-Hudson, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Viborg/Hurley took their victory against the Cubs in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 45-20. Does Viborg/Hurley have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cubs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
