Kiera Strakowksi made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Strakowksi was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. That run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ella Chelminiak, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Makayla Klingber was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
