They took their matchup on the road on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 61-6 win over Harding. The win was familiar territory for Badger who now have 12 in a row.
It was another big night for Katie Grexa, who scored 17 points along with eight steals and six assists. The matchup was her ninth in a row with at least ten points. Avery Rice was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Badger's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Harding, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Badger will face off against Rootstown at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Rootstown presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Badger in Ohio (Rootstown is ranked 85th, while Badger is ranked 234th). Harding won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Maplewood at 5:30 p.m. on January 11th. One thing working in Maplewood's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
