Maranatha Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adrian (A.D.) Ownbey out in front who scored 23 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Ownbey has scored at least a third of Maranatha Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Zeke Walker, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
Maranatha Christian's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-16. As for Foothills Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.
