After three games on the road, Scotus is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Lincoln Christian Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Scotus scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family as Scotus made off with a 57-37 victory.
Meanwhile, Lincoln Christian put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Archbishop Bergan with a sharp 61-36 win. Considering Lincoln Christian has won three matchups by more than 24 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Scotus' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26 points. As for Lincoln Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
Scotus came up short against Lincoln Christian when the teams last played back in January, falling 34-25. Can Scotus avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
