On Saturday, Neshoba Central really took it to Richland for the full four quarters, racking up a 86-52 win at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-18.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Neshoba Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Ben, who scored 21 points. The matchup was Ben's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Ben, who scored 16 points.
Neshoba Central's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Richland, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
Neshoba Central and Warren Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Richland, they will head out on the road to face off against McComb at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McComb has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 248 points over their last four contests.
