The Trotwood-Madison Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 65-43 margin over Withrow. The win was familiar territory for Trotwood-Madison who now have three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trotwood-Madison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marlon Howard jr, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jermiel Atkins, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Trotwood-Madison pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.5 points per game. As for Withrow, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1.
Trotwood-Madison will be playing in front of their home fans against Belmont at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Belmont's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games. As for Withrow, they will head out on the road to face off against Woodward at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodward knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matches -- so hopefully Withrow likes a good challenge.
