Football Recap: Monte Vista's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

Monte Vista and Summerville squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Monte Vista had to settle for second. The game between them and the Summerville Bears didn't end well, with the Monte Vista Monarchs falling 38-21. While losing is never fun, the Monarchs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 499th, while the Bears are ranked 245th).
