Greenville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,063 points over their last 16 matchups.
Greenville can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They really took it to Pickens for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-37 victory at home. Given Greenville's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while Pickens is ranked 266th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Greenwood suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 62-41 loss at the hands of Westside. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Greenwood has scored all season.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Cj Terrell, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Brooks, who scored 13 points.
Greenville's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Greenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.
Greenville didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Greenwood in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 54-48 win.
