Rio Vista will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Natomas at 5:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Rio Vista were fully in charge last Saturday, breezing past Millennium 49-0. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-0.
Natomas came within a touchdown against Laguna Creek last week, but wound up with a 12-22 loss.
Rio Vista's win lifted them to 2-0 while Natomas's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Rio Vista can add another positive mark to their record or if Natomas can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Rio Vista's step.
