After a string of three wins, The Thibodaux Tigers''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They suffered a tough 38-12 defeat at the hands of Destrehan. While losing is never fun, Thibodaux can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Destrehan is ranked 18th).
Brayden Becnel rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown. Bryson Woods was his top target, picking up 59 receiving yards. On the ground, Travon Hadley rushed for 91 yards.
Thibodaux now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Destrehan, their win was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 10-0.
Thibodaux will square off against Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Destrehan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
