The Oviedo Lions waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against Master's Academy by a score of 63-53. For Oviedo, this counts as revenge for the 55-49 loss Master's Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2019.
It was another big night for Cameron Bryant, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Harper, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Oviedo is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Master's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.
Oviedo will take on Wekiva at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wekiva is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Master's Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Foundation Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
