David continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Gates, who scored six points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Providence didn't have too much trouble with Garinger at home on Tuesday as they won 67-48. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Providence has managed all season.
Charlotte Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Providence, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
Charlotte Catholic beat Providence 63-52 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Charlotte Catholic since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
