Baseball Recap: Norris Has No Trouble Against Adams Central

Norris never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Adams Central on Monday. They blew past the Patriots 13-0. Considering the Titans have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Crew Moeller made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Norris got a massive performance out of Jordan Monroe, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Monroe has hit this season. Kaden Fredenburg was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run and three runs.

Norris moved to 16-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Adams Central, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6.

Norris has already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Gretna on the 29th. As for Adams Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 victory against Central City/Centura on the 29th.
