KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy will head out on the road to take on the Parkway Northwest Hoyas at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Thursday, KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy was the victim of a tough 54-33 defeat at the hands of Girard Academic Music Program.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Sybir Brown, who scored 12 points along with two steals. Haile Johnson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Parkway Northwest wound up with the same score they had in their last game (53-33), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points they have scored all season.
KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Parkway Northwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
Everything came up roses for KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy against Parkway Northwest in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 77-46 victory. With KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy ahead 41-20 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
