Providence Classical's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. Their rough 70-48 loss to Lee Park Prep might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Providence Classical has suffered since November 14, 2023.
Despite the loss, Providence Classical still got an impressive performance from Xan Rahalawicz, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rahalawicz has scored all season. Bryson Lahr was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Leading Lee Park Prep to victory were Cole Donoghue and Isaac Watkins. Donoghue scored 18 points along with six assists and five rebounds, while Watkins dropped a double-double on 16 points and 21 rebounds. Watkins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brody Adams, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Providence Classical bumped their record down to 9-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lee Park Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Walnut Grove Christian the next time they take the court. Lee Park Prep will head out to face Walnut Grove Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Providence Classical will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
