After having lost a blowout in their matchup last week, the Two Rivers Purple Raiders were happy to find some success on Tuesday. They took their game against the Brillion Lions 81-71. Brillion can consider this payback for the 88-86 loss they dealt Two Rivers the last time the teams encountered one another January.
The victory improved the Purple Raiders' record to 8-11. This is the second loss in a row for the Lions and nudges their record down to 6-13.
Two Rivers has the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Kiel Friday. Two Rivers isn't favored, but they just beat the odds this past contest, so don't count them out. Brillion is staying on the road Friday to face off against New Holstein. Brillion is expected to win again but is hoping to meet expectations this time.
