The Timberlake Tigers's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Rogers Pirates at 10:30 a.m. on December 27th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Timberlake made off with a 54-53 win over Genesis Prep Academy.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Timberlake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob Yetter, who scored 17 points. The game was Yetter's third in a row with at least ten points. Nate Dykeman was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Rogers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 67-49 victory over Riverside.
Timberlake's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for Rogers, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
