Lindsay will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Morro Bay at 5:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Lindsay had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-35 punch to the gut against Kennedy on Thursday.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-50, which was the final score in Morro Bay's tilt against Gonzales last Friday.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
