The Freeman Scotties won the last time they faced the St. George's Dragons, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Freeman breezed by St. George's on the road to the tune of 51-23.
Taylee Phelps had a dynamite game for Freeman, scoring 29 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Phelps has scored at least 25% of Freeman's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Semprimoznik, who scored 10 points.
The win got Freeman back to even at 1-1. As for St. George's, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freeman is on the road again on Thursday and play against Pullman at 5:30 p.m. on December 7th. Pullman comes in still looking for their first win of the season. St. George's will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kettle Falls at 6:00 p.m. on December 16th.
