5A District 6 recap November 19, 2013
South Sumter extended the longest winning streak in 5A District 6 this week by beating Suwannee, 31-12. The win marks 11th in a row for the the Raiders.
South Sumter moved up to 47 from 77 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Inman Sherman's team was able to move up by beating the Bulldogs 31-12.
6-foot-0 quarterback David Tinch of Weeki Wachee is the league leader in passing yards this season with 583. He has also thrown 1 touchdown. The leading receiver in the league this season is Devon Brockington. The Zephyrhills star has 21 catches for 405 yards.
The Raiders took down Suwannee 31-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
