The Ocoee Knights waltzed into their game on Thursday with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Freedom 60-27 at home. Ocoee has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 23 points or more this season.
Ocoee was led to victory by Micah Hannah and Jayla Weiser. Hannah scored ten points along with eight steals, while Weiser scored eight points along with nine steals. Hannah is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Anjelle Kerr, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Ocoee is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Freedom, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-14.
