Basketball Recap: Brazil Clark Key Part of a Team Effort in Knights Win

Foundation Collegiate Academy lost to Pine Forge Academy back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Foundation Collegiate Academy Knights came out on top against the Pine Forge Academy Falcons by a score of 57-44.

Foundation Collegiate Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brazil Clark out in front who went 13 of 31 on his way to 28 points and four steals. Clark's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Smith, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.

Foundation Collegiate Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Despite the defeat, Pine Forge Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jonathan Pluviose dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 boards. Jadon Lewis was another key player, putting up six points and seven rebounds.

Foundation Collegiate Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Pine Forge Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Foundation Collegiate Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-47 win against Girard College on the 24th. As for Pine Forge Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 39-27 loss against The City School on the 27th.
