PIEDMONT, Okla. - the Warriors scored 14 points in the first quarter to secure a big 27-0 victory over
Piedmont (Okla.) on Saturday.
Anadarko scored on a touchdown run by
Traymayne Wauahdooah and a touchdown pass by
Brandon Pollard to
Matt Kaulaity in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Wauahdooah in the first quarter, AHS was up 14-0 at the half.
The Warriors expanded their lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. Anadarko's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by Pollard.
AHS went into the matchup giving up only 9.1 points per game.
The loss comes after Piedmont defeated Clinton 45-19 last week. The loss ended Piedmont's three-game winning streak.
Piedmont (4-4) will play a 4A District 1 game against Elgin next week, while Anadarko (8-0) will take on Weatherford also in a 4A District 1 game.
