The South Bulldogs lost against the Thomas Worthington CARDINALS back in January of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. South took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Thomas Worthington. While losing is never fun, South can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 512th, while Thomas Worthington is ranked 240th).
Despite the loss, South had strong showings from J'Khyla Foster, who scored 14 points along with six steals, and Emani Tynes, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Foster is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played.
South has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for Thomas Worthington, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.
South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thomas Worthington, they will head out on the road to challenge Hilliard Darby at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
